Plus and Motorways
Once you have passed your driving test and have the all
important driving licence, you are all set for the road.
ALMOST
Having passed your test you have shown that you can drive
unsupervised but as a newly qualified driver you are more vulnerable than you
realise, this is where Pass plus can help you.
What is pass plus?
Pass plus was developed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA).
The six module training syllabus will help you develop your
skills and it can also help boost your confidence.
The Pass plus syllabus is as follows:
- Module 1 Introduction and town driving
- Module 2 All weather driving
- Module 3 Out of town and Rural roads
- Module 4 Night Driving
- Module 5 Dual carriageways
- Module 6 Motorways
The pass plus course is a minimum of six (6) hours tuition.
There is no test at the end of the course, you will be assessed
throughout the course.
Why take Pass plus?
When you successfully complete the pass plus course, you will
qualify for a car insurance discount, this can be more than the
cost of the training.
Your instructor will be able to tell which companies take part
in the scheme.
